Caleb is a filmmaker, visual artist, and sabbath person living in Los Angeles with his wife and dog. Born in Colorado and raised in the Pacific Northwest, he is interested in the theater of wildernesses and our origins in the natural world. His work weaves primal visuals with themes of mortality, pluralism, and human archetype to create something both current and ancient-feeling.
Beyond his personal body of work is a selected client portfolio. The short film Nisei, which he edited, won the grand jury prize at the 2023 Cinequest Film Festival and was featured in Variety’s Oscars prediction list. He is currently playing festivals with his film Threnody.
